Q: What
is the Xbox 360 release date?
A: There is no confirmation on the price of the Xbox
360 yet. It will be launched this year, in November or
December. The US release date will only be days ahead of the
European and Japanese release.
Q: Is Xbox 30 backwards compatible?
A: The Xbox 360 will be backwards compatible with all
the current top selling Xbox games.
Q: How many games are in development?
A: There are more than 160 games in development for the
Xbox 360.
Q: How many games will Microsoft release?
A: Microsoft hopes to release 25 to 40 Xbox 360 games
in the first 90 days from the launch of the console.
Q: What are the minimum standards for games?
A: Every game will have a minimum resolution of 720p,
with some going up to 1080i. A 16:9 aspect ratio, and 5.1
surround sound is also standard.
Q: Can I keep my current Xbox Live subscription?
A: Yes
Q: I heard there's multiple versions of Xbox Live, got
more info?
A: There will be two different version of Xbox Live -
Gold and Silver. Silver will be free, Gold will be paid,
however Gold also has more benefits.
Q: Do we get free XBox live gold at all?
A: All Xbox 360 owners will get 1 month of Xbox Live
"Gold" Membership for free.
